Lessons

Red Raven Equine offer lessons in dressage, jumping, eventing, and English pleasure and equitation for ages 5 and up. Lessons are available on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 10:00am through 6:30pm at either our facility in Lake Stevens, Washington or your facility or home. Red Raven Equine has two large school ponies available for lessons at our facility. Our facility has two covered round pens and a fully enclosed indoor arena, in addition to a large outdoor arena and outdoor round pen, so we are able to ride year-round.

All new students begin with private lessons. In each hour-long private lesson, beginning riders will learn to halter, lead, groom, and tack up their pony, in addition to learning to ride. Once riders are capable of tacking up independently, they may arrive up to 15 minutes before their lesson is scheduled to groom and tack up their pony. All riders must wear long pants and boots with a small heel. We have some spare pairs of children’s riding boots available to borrow. If you would like to borrow boots please check with us to ensure that we have your size before you arrive for your lesson. Helmets are required for all riders, you may choose to bring one from home or borrow one of ours.
